Laurie brings over two decades of experience building and leading capital-intensive organizations across the energy and infrastructure sectors, with deep expertise spanning gas, power, and carbon technologies.

She most recently served as President and CEO of Elimini, a BECCS development platform and subsidiary of Drax Group (FTSE 250), which she founded and scaled from the ground up to more than 100 professionals and a $50M+ annual budget within two years. As a fiduciary member of Drax Group's Executive Committee, she contributed to governance, investment approval, and enterprise-wide strategic decisions as part of Drax’s leadership team.

Earlier in her career, Laurie built EDF Renewables' development platform in Mexico, growing a 1+ gigawatt wind and solar pipeline, and served as Executive Director of the Center on Global Energy Policy at Columbia University, where she built the organization's operating infrastructure and helped secure $45 million toward a $100 million capital campaign. Her background also includes project finance, M&A origination, and carbon market investment roles spanning the U.S. and Latin America.

She currently serves as an independent board director of Saavi Energía, Mexico's largest private power generator, and on the advisory board of The Carbon Registry. She holds a B.A. from Swarthmore College and is fluent in Spanish.
