Kara Marciscano is an Associate on the Investment team at the CGC, where she leverages experience in investment analysis, sustainable infrastructure, and portfolio management to advance CGC’s mission to accelerate investment in clean energy technologies. In her role, Kara focuses on originating, structuring, and executing investments across CGC’s target sectors.

Before joining CGC, Kara worked at the Department of Energy’s Loan Programs Office where she focused on high-impact energy and decarbonization investments. Previously, she led pilot demonstrations for circular infrastructure at Closed Loop Partners, and managed investment strategies across a range of industries, including battery technology and renewables, at WisdomTree. She began her career in equity research at Barclays Investment Bank, where she developed expertise in industry and investment analyses.

Kara holds an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania where she focused on renewable energy finance. She is a Chartered Financial Analyst and holds a B.S. from the Carroll School of Management at Boston College.
