Jon Gibson serves as the Director of Operations and Compliance at the CGC, where he oversees organizational systems, operational strategy, and regulatory compliance to ensure CGC’s infrastructure supports its mission to accelerate clean energy investment through Green Banks and other catalytic financing vehicles.With extensive experience in climate-focused finance and operational leadership, Jon previously held key roles at Generate Capital, where he helped scale operations in service of deploying sustainable infrastructure. He brings a deep understanding of institutional fund management, nonprofit governance, and compliance frameworks critical to supporting CGC’s expanding portfolio of green finance initiatives.Jon is passionate about building the operational backbone of organizations driving equitable climate solutions. He earned an MBA at Presidio Graduate School and a Bachelors in Finance at Bentley University, is a board member at RE-volv.org, advisor to DoubleLand, and resides in the San Francisco Bay Area.
