Ethan Forauer is the Vice President and Head of Operations & Compliance and is responsible for overseeing CGC’s operations at the nexus of portfolio management and compliance.

Prior to CGC, Ethan was a Vice President of Investment Operations at AB CarVal Investors, focused on US-based structured credit investments within the Energy Transition business. Here, Ethan was responsible for providing a full spectrum of operations support, including due diligence and risk assessments, investment onboarding and portfolio management and valuations. Ethan also held several roles at NY Green Bank on the Operations & Finance team.

Ethan holds a Master of Public Administration degree concentrating in Environmental Science and Policy from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs and a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science from Clark University in Worcester, MA.

Outside of CGC, he enjoys traveling and trying new restaurants with his wife and spending time outdoors with his energetic Brittany Spaniel!
